Seminal punk rock group Rancid has released a new single: "Tomorrow Never Comes." The track comes at a very productive time for the band members, with vocalist Tim Armstrong also busy with his recent project, Bad Optix, which features Operation Ivy founding member Jesse Michaels, among others.
The new Rancid tune stays true to the band's formula, going for a powerful, hard-hitting tone, which preambles what the group's upcoming tenth album will sound and feel like. The production is polished but not overcooked, allowing the natural dynamics of the performance to stand out.
